I’d like to address the confusion surrounding our Google Talk integration feature and how it ties to session alerts. First, let me shed a little light on how the session tool alerts work. If you are on the site, logged in, and not already in a session, you should receive an alert and audible warning that a student wants to initiate a session with you. You simply click on “accept”, and the session tool will launch and connect you with the student.

If you are not logged into ziizoo but you enabled Google Talk integration in your ziizoo profile, and you have a Google Talk account, a message from the ziizoo admin buddy will flash on your screen and ask you to log in and accept the session request from the student.

You then click that URL link in the message above to go to ziizoo and then click “Accept” as you see below:

Finally the session tool launches and you are tutoring!

You may choose to log in and stay on the site, or just use the Gtalk feature. It is up to you.
