Factmonster.com hits it out of the park. It is an almanac site loaded with fun stuff and general knowledge for kids. What I like is the UI (soothing yet interesting colors and balanced layout especially) and the artwork that the fine folks at Infoplease created. The winged monster on the home page cracks me up for some reason. Obviously the information is great. Sports, Math, Science, Homework Help…..the list goes on and on.
