Updates: Tutor Services Tool and Feedback!

May 21st, 2007 by Gregory Stewart

Hello ziizoo-ians(?)

We updated ziizoo again with some bugfixes today, most prominently an overhauled version of the tutor services tool. People were complaining about not being able to select any tags or loosing their selected tags in the process.
First of all, we made the tutor services selection a 1-page process. You now set your rate and select your tutor tags on the same page, and save them. Easy as that. Also, loosing the selected tags and other quirky behavior should be gone as well. If not, let us know.

We also added as basic version of feedback a few days ago. After a completed session you will be able to rate your tutor or student and leave praise or constructive criticism. Be assured that there will be a more advanced version later on. Your feedback on this is appreciated as always.

It would be nice if we could see how many students are currently seeking help… but I have no idea how that would actually work.

    Keep up the good work!

Is there any way the students or parents can speak with a tutor- free of charge- before beginning a tutoring session? Maybe I am missing something…

Do I have to log in for this? Are their job openings a ziizoo? Seems like a fun place.

Thanks for your comments. The ability to speak with a tutor free before is session is high on our priority list, more users asked for this and we hope to get it into our beta release.
To see how many students are seeking help is an interesting thought and Abhraham we might have opening pretty soon with all of the activity going on ….. Keep spreading the word on ziizoo!
